Alexa Trend/Rank
What is Alexa Trend/Rank?
Hummm. I know it’s a toolbar that effectively makes public the number of hits a particular url gets.
It’s sort of a publicly accessible hit counter so one can gague the amount of traffic to a website without having to be the site owner – This is what I suspect anyway.
It does involve installing a toolbar for those who wish to contribute to it’s rankings and I’m uncertain if there are any ulterior motives behind what they are doing but I think they seem to be benevolent.
