I agree with Paul. While everything works fine, when you click reply you'll see that you're replying back to yourself and not the email address that the end user used when filling out your form. We missing something here?

Whilst this all works fine and dandy I have spotted an issue. When the email comes through via CF7 it appears to have come from my email account (as this is what would be setup in the SMTP addon. Basically, when you hit reply to the CT7 email, you will be replying to yourself and not the person who actually send the message!

If there away to fix this so the email shows from the person who actually sent it!

I was so excited to see this post - but this isn't working for me with Contact Form 7. I get the following message: Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact administrator by other way.

I'm not one to comment on blogs very often, but I just wanted to drop you a quick "thanks" comment - as this seems to have done the trick to fix an email server error we were experiencing. Cheers.

Hi M8ke,

Yes. You should be able to set up as many contact forms as you like eg [contact-form1] [contact-form2] etc... Contact Form 7 is just the form. It's how you send the mail that there were problems. The 'Configure SMTP' plugin will make the connection to GMail servers and do it's thing.

Just to let you know I don't use CF7 any more. It's too slow to load, it loads on pages where there are no contact forms and generally just add extra unnecessary weight to every page and as I'm hosting this site on my 'home' broadband it's more important to me to reduce page loading times than having a contact form.
